Mercy B. Pina-Brito has been a practicing lawyer for over 24 years and handles cases and matters involving construction law and commercial litigation. Ms. Pina-Brito is an experienced litigator with extensive background in construction defect, contract delays, payment of claims and contract disputes. Her many years of experience enables her to assist clients through the pre-suit and litigation process by using her exceptional legal knowledge and skills. 

Ms. Pina-Brito graduated from Florida International University in 1992 and then obtained her juris doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University – Shepard Broad College of Law in 1998. Ms. Pina-Brito began her career as a legal intern in the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. After her internship, she worked at several prominent Miami law firms where she gained experience in the areas of construction defense, insurance, and premises liability. Ms. Pina-Brito has represented clients in both state and federal courts, and is also a Supreme Court Certified Civil Mediator.
