Scott A. Markowitz has been a practicing lawyer for over 25 years and handles cases and matters involving personal injury, construction law, commercial litigation as well as insurance litigation. He graduated cum laude from James Madison University in 1987 and then obtained his juris doctorate degree, with honors, from Stetson University College of Law in 1991. Following law school, Mr. Markowitz clerked for an appellate judge of the 4th District Court of Appeal for two years. After his clerkship, Mr. Markowitz has and continues to handle complex and significant cases involving catastrophic injuries, complex commercial litigation as well as intricate insurance issues. Throughout his practice, Mr. Markowitz has tried numerous cases in both state and federal courts and has successfully argued cases on appeal. Mr. Markowitz strives to identify the critical issues involved in any given matter to develop a strategy for early, reasonable and practicable resolution.
